The first point isn't true, if you have a cubic hitbox against a flat wall you'll still be in the 180 degree radius if you are hitting them on the sides. So you can still backstab if you hit within the green sides. Facestabs only occur if there's a big latency at one of the 2 players. Somewhere halfway the stabbing animation it decides if it's a backstab or a normal attack, if the player quickly changed direction after that choice has already been made it will still backstab them. It is a problem, but not because it goes through the frontal hitbox. It only happens to me once a month maybe, not a big deal. Some players think they get frontstabbed all the time, but then it's most likely a matador-stab, which you can do by luring the player to one side, and then quickly walking to the other, making you able to see their backs. Backstabs are a balanced gamemechanic, possible to do from the start but there's also a huge learning curve attached to it. It's a latency issue, the only way to fix it would be to calculate it on the client, but then people could really easily use it to cheat.

There is indeed a noticeable difference between the buy/sell prices, but the biggest difference is on paints and parts, where the bots usually don't pay anything for them but do charge a bit of their price. If I'm not mistaken this is done to A: make profit to keep the servers running, and B: to keep the economy stable. The latter one might sound a bit weird, but if the bots wouldn't charge anything for them, the overall price of them would decrease.

You have to create a 32x32 image, how you do it is up to you. There is no 1 way to do so. I just opened paint.NET (http://www.getpaint.net/index.html), created a 32x32 canvas and started drawing with the pencil tool, that's how was made. That's up to you. If you start out with a 32x32 blank canvas and paint the emoticon yourself (like I did with (basic) or katuen does with emoticons like ) You can also try to crop down an image to 32x32, and you'll get something like

What do you mean? It isn't. If you want to create your own emoticon you an use any image editing program and draw your emoticon, or you could try to rescale an existing image that you've already created. Make sure to closely follow the guidelines, otherwise your emoticon will be rejected.

Nope, you can't. I think you might be able to set up a shop in the seller beta and get credit that way. Buying things with keys is what scrap.tf is made for
