  1. They cost .22 ref. They are .16 to craft. And there are almost always just 1 or 2 of them there, so there really is no time advantage in trading for them.
  2. The standart Key is the Mann co key. If someone wants keys, they mean this one. Other keys are roughly the same value, slightly more or extremely more worth. Scrap.tf also consideres only the Mann. Co Key a currency, and other keys just items. In auctions, the former is always worth 1 Key, while the latter may loose value as they have to go through the hassle of selling the item; how much value is lost there depends on the item factor. Lastly, Mann Co. Keys are traded so often that most trading-sites have an special places to trade just them. Scrap.tf has an extra "Key" trading bot, while all other keys are found in "items". I'd advise you to always try to sell your items for keys and metal and then trade with that, unless you think someone will pay more for your items.
  3. You know the price is determined by what people are willing to pay for it? It isn't just scrap.tf, every site has craft hats at a very high price right now, though I don't know why. Has probably something to do with how worthless 1 ref is right now.
  4. Either they don't know how auctions work, or they made a mistake in creating the auction. It's not like they are the only ones not knowing that auction's aren't sell orders. You won't search long before finding an auction for an item with a very stable price, a minimum bid way higher than said price, and currency the only thing one can bid. Scraps auctions are probably best for items with uncertain values or trading anything for items.
