I was given Moderator Status by a dev but nothing has changed

It was posted 5 hours ago for me, but it is 1:14 am right now for me, April 1st so technically it was posted on March 31st. -
I logged on a few minutes ago and I got a message saying that I was chosen to be a Mod but nothing has changed. My account still says I am a "user" and I don't want people to think I hacked, so I am thinking its a bug. Can someone help me with this?
