  1. The question I have is this: Why are you reselling the item back to us? I would recommend you don't buy from us to sell on for a profit. The prices we set are set to be fair for people who want to get a quick item for themselves and are willing to make a loss. If you're buying to sell on, your chances of finding someone that will pay even higher than what you paid here is very, very slim. Also, what are the items in question? KS Kits? Item-banking items?
  2. Don't play Casual. Non-official games with Competitive rules, Deathmatch or vs Bots with Comp rules are all fine if you don't want to do Valve Comp, but Casual is just a horrendous cesspool of imbeciles, so don't go there.
  3. This one? http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198014574557/inventory/#440_2_1680089202 I wouldn't pay more than the price of a Strange Medi Gun for it, and you can't expect most people to pay more than that. However, a collector would be willing to pay more. Your options therefore are to sell it for very little or to hold on to it and hope you can find a person who collects weapons signed by people from that team, or just that player, or people whose name begins with P.

Are you kidding me that's everyone's guilty pleasure, along with Yuru Yuri and somethign else I can't rememeber. Nobody will admit to liking it but nobody can say they don't enjoy it (unless they don't enjoy it, which is a pretty small number of people).
  6. The scrap.tf forums are not for Marketplace.tf issues. Open a support ticket with them regarding your issue/query.
  7. "web site" is technically correct. It is a site on the World Wide Web. It's "website" that is the colloquialisation.
  8. ??? What 'Tip War'? Why is the Staff against the rest of the users? Our job is to keep the community in a state in which it is better for the average user. By that we are allied with the average user against the troublemakers in the community.
  9. You cannot possibly know that all bugs are fixed. Only Geel knows all the known bugs and only Geel is in charge of whether Auctions become public. Judging from his current level of investment in them, they're more likely to be removed or left in beta indefinitely than to hjave whatever bugs are left. Additionally, Auctions are very rarely used properly, instead they are used to ask for more than an item's actual price in the hopes someone will blindly bid, or putting the reserve at the item's price to make it nothing but an automatic buy function. These two glaring issues will almost require being fixed before Auctions can come out of beta.
  10. You're not banned. If you were banned you would not be able to post here.
  11. A router is your connection from your LAN to the rest of the internet. It works like a tree. There's a massive trunk which all the internet companies pay to maintain, then they set up wires to each country, then each city, then each house. Each house has a router, which connects the smallest parts of the 'tree' - the LAN. The different computers in the house are right at the end of that, getting all the information put into them like water into roots. The router then sends that up like a branch to the bigger parts of the tree. The internet itself is more like a web (or net), in that the pages are all hosted in a big cloud-like system with all the files being interconnected, but the structure by which you connect ot the internet and the main way it is set up to get to people is more like a tree.
  12. Shadow, our PM for Itembanking, isn't the fastest fellow. However, we let these kinds of things happen as he has incentive to maximise the profit Itembanking creates. Unfortunately since he has so many other trading things to do like trading his flashy hats and something to do with Outpost (I think), It ends up taking him a long time to change things. Presumably he does an acceptable job though, since he's still around.
  13. I'm not quite sure what you're getting at, here. The prices on average should be that we sell slightly above market price and buy slightly below it. Because we can more efficiently trade than a manual trader, we can cut down those margins and rely upon volume of sales rather than a few small, high-profit sales. Scrap.tf exists to give users a quick service with easy access to the items they want, at a slight premium. that slight premium is where we make the profit. For items that people don't want to buy form us much but want to sell to us a lot, we'll pay very little, and for items users don't want to sell to us much but want to buy quickly, we'll ask them to pay a larger premium. This all ensures that a consistent margin is kept, helping us stay in business and ensuring we don't become flooded with things nobody wants or always out of things everybody wants.
  14. I want Dmitri's loadsamoney.
  15. Huh? I don't see itembanking as being addictive, that'd be like vending machines being addictive to use - you try not to use them because they're more expensive, but sometimes ou just really want that Marathon bar or bottle of Coke, so you're willing to pay that bit more to get it right now.
  16. Nah! It's jus' loadsamoney!
  17. No need to be so exclusive, we can all enjoy both games and get along. R-right?
