The ads on mobile site

Hi! 

 

I use the mobile site a lot, more than the desktop version, actually. 

For some reason, since this morning there is an extremely wide ad at the top that's breaking the scrolling. 

I've no problems with having ads on a site, but this really wide one is making my life miserable on mobile.

I think it's to allow scrap.tf to earn some money apart from this, most people also have that problem now, and I don't think there is a solution for that temporarily

Well, yes, I said, I don't mind ads, normally. But this banner is wider than the mobile site itself, so now it also scrolls to the side, which is annoying, plus it's also making the site slower. 

 

A smaller ad would do the trick with the scrolling problem. Not sure about the slowness though.

They do not show up for donators and above iIrc.

That's really weird. It should look like this, and it does for me:

For me, when the page loads, it looks like this:

However, you can zoom out quite far and the menu button is at the far right hand side.

 

Also, please note that what you are seeing is only half of the advert. I don't think banner ads are quite right for mobile sites.

It now looks like the top ad has been horribly cropped, but the bottom ad is still just as big, making it so you still have to zoom out to access the menu.
