Secret Santa Appeals?

Hey guys. 

 

I'm not entirely sure if this would be the right place to put this, but all I wanted to ask was if there were going to be Secret Santa appeals this year, or ever.

 

Although I know that it's unfortunately our own consequence that we weren't able to turn in gifts by the deadline, I feel like there could be a few exceptions that could potentially create a successful appeal system to the Secret Santa event. Supposedly, the grinches are people who don't gift items but still participate in the event, and this year, Scrap has tried to relieve that problem by banning all grinches this year...forever. 

 

Yes, I have realized that this is due to my own fault - I wasn't able to gift all the items I wanted to send in time. However, through banning everyone forever now, not only do I feel like this would be unfair to the newer people who joined Scrap this year (as they wouldn't know that they could've been appealed before...), but also because I know for a fact that I won't be the only one appealing for a fair reason. I have, in fact, tried to reach out to my recipient through raffling, but was sadly quite unlucky. Even now I still hope to reach him sometime. 

 

TLDR

Basically I'm just wondering if there will ever be an appeal for the SS, for if there were to never be one I know that I wouldn't be the only one who would be filled with disappointment.

2017 was the last year for grinches to be pardoned

Well, first of all, this would go on Suggestions.

 

With that out of the way, I don't think Appeals will be a thing, the event has been done for like 3 years, if not more, and there have always been grinches and they always would get forgiven by next year's event, of course that was until the 2017 event. 

The bans are permanent and can be seen as a bit too harsh but they're kinda necessary, otherwise people won't stop being grinches.

 

And while I agree that there are some cases where people didn't know how to gift and stuff like that. There's a Help Center and a Live Support if they had any doubts or questions, for example, this: https://scrap.tf/help/kb/193

 

And (if I'm not mistaken) there's always a raffle made by a Staff member where they give instructions on how the event works.

 

So yeah... TLDR don't think it's gonna happen.
