Did I get scammed?

beging for item in lot site/community is not allowed. I am 99% sure that this user goal was to pretend to be act like new player to then trick his "friend list" into giving away there item. I had people who add me for no reason, then they talk to me like months. Then ask for some favor. I just block them and unfriend them. scammer will play the long game. also the user who took your item, it a bit weird that he has 33 hour with 3 month account or more. you met him like 3 month ago. at that point you should have at least over 100 hour within 3 month frame. I also find it weird that that person could instant accept your trade offer. normally there like 15 day trade hold for anyone who accept any item without steam app. the only way to active steam guard, is by spending money. Scamming is tricking someone into giving there item or login detail for hijack. In this case, I would consider this scam. 

 

 

you seem like a nice guy but never give item to stranger online. I recommend only giving item to people you know in real life or care about. Only give item to people who are really your friend. (not using you). You should give item on special day like someone birthday or Christmas.
