(I assume you have Windows) (Optional: You could turn off your Firewall and check if you can connect to the port to see if that's what is preventing you from using that port)If the problem is your firewall go to Control Panel->Security->Firewall->AdvancedYou can add new rules there for in/out connections on specific ports and such. I just wanted to give this one tip.If you have any issues with setting up your router's firewall, I recommend http://portforward.com/english/routers/port_forwarding/routerindex.htmTo use it, just find your router information in the list and look at the firewall setup guide for Team Fortress 2. The instructions are really easy to follow.The reason I recommend this is because sometimes different routers have different settings and restrictions. If the GUI looks different between setup and what the site shows, don't worry about it. The information is all accurate, but the site simply shows an older or different GUI.
