I'd suggest buying things within your price range like the Victory Lap and the Burly Beast. To make profit you have to buy items lower than it's bp.tf price and selling it for it's normal price, but don't try buying things way lower than it's actual price. You can probably find people selling items like this around your price on crowded trade servers.
