Annoying Bastard

I attempted to trade fro some hats and I waited over 10 minutes and nothing happened and I reset and was going to try again but the cosmetic was gone. What is going on here?

I am trying to get a Charmer's Chapeau and today. I was waiting on it after I clicked on it and put the Items I want'ed to trade it took forever and I didn't get the trade so I tried for a awhile and reset the site a lot. I tried to buy it again but someone bought it. This is not the first time this has happened. I am really mad about this and just wish I could get that hat.

Why don't the do a really big raffle?
