i suggest that someone should record a demo when reporting to ban someone for disruptive server behavor
( at least if the person being banned is a frequent face? ?i understand theres randoms who shows up oncce crockets a conga line and never shows up again......)
admins are not always present on servers but will place bans based on !reports
and while i havent yet had an interaction with an admin present on the server issuing a ban towards me
-i HAVE had an interaction where an admin present asked me to stop killing so close to spawn, i said sorry, and then i was spawncamped by three heavies until he warned them too, AND THEN an hour later a completely different admin who wasnt on the server banned me for spawncamping while i was running around as friendly medic
-and, i HAVE had an interaction where an admin present on server banned a rude stranger for harassing me, and then two days later without me having played on the server since, a completely different admin banned me for tryharding!
i like to smoke and play on a tf2 server where there is no downtime,map change,round change but also no tryhard hightower2fort pubstomp mess??

i play braindead pyroland pyrovision pyro ♥ enjyoingthe company of friendly friendlies and the gameplay of idle server duelies
most players are enjoyable and nice to me, especially when random trolls join to start shootingcrockets into conga lines and i wm1 them into not doing that
i am not a particularly threatening gal or a particularly threatening pyro with my f2p hats wm1 gameplay taunting more than mvm bots and high fiving friendlies
however i definitely have to keep my head down! because there are a few familiar faces who will always shoot me every time ijoin the server, or who will pocket the snipers doing the shooting >;3c
(((and thats fine i guess, BUT THEN HOURS INTO vibing and gaming theyll say something rude and let me know an admin has been notified of the crimes ive been commiting????? ??)))
and then depending on the weather an admin will join and launch discipline from the skies >:D
there are two sides to every story but in my epxerience the game played being played is "first person willing to type !report" wins?
like the server promotes chill until suddenly someone feels slighted and its time to leverage a punishment...

its hard to get real-time feedback when unknown admin bans me based on console logs(???) of kdr??
(im not sure cause the last KDRs i can recall was me getting dominated by a few better players than me haha)
(definitely not bothering to read actual chat im sure, CAUSE WOW some people on the "Chill" server know how to be rude with words ...! )
i understand the pressure of dealing with trolls but i miss my hangout spot
and the moderation has felt arbitrary and sortve based on wordofmouth of non-admins who are in an admins friend list?
or maybe the volume of reports from randoms who are already banned themselves??

ive now been banned based on either the report of a themselves-banned harassing random, or safe and protected admin's friend who likes calling me the b-word, and i will need to wait out my ban under the current system
but i would please request a courtesy demo in the future cause it aint fair
