How do i attack the evil spirit?

I can't find anything to attack it. I know i'm probably blind and or stupid for asking this, but how in the world do i attack it?

you need EP. when you have at least 3 EP you have to go to the event page and select the spellbook with fire, it will consume the 3 EP and attack the evil entity.

 

You can have more Ep, yet you will only lose 3

you go to the trick or treat event thing in scrap.tf and click on the little spell book thing it costs 3 EP you get EP for doing quest thing that it gives you

I'm doing the quests every day and only attacking the evil entity but the event is half done and the bar is only like 1/3 of the way. Is it impossible because at this rate I might just get the hat as I won't get that bar filled in time.

The bar is a community event. Meaning, EVERYONE PITCHES IN. It is NOT a solo task.

 

And besides, the bar ALREADY FILLED OUT a few days ago, it reset itself because it was already completed within 3 days of the event starting.

You just go to the halloween event in scrap.tf and there's attack the entity option that costs 3 EP. EP are earned daily if you do the quests.
