Question regarding Scrap.tf's on-site inventory

Hello!

I've been a member here for quite a while but I've never really gotten involved in the forums, creating raffles & auctions, let alone using the site's inventory. 
I noticed the site has 5 slots max per user (at least for those here free of charge such as myself).
I was wondering what happens when I create an Auction and put the bid over 5 refined metal? For example 40 ref? How will I withdraw those items? Will I get all of the metal individually or how does it work if I only have max 5 slots available?

You would have 40 out of 5 slots (scrap.tf can go over the max)

It will go over the limit, which just means that you will be unable to deposit any other items until you withdraw them
