It's not over yet (test 1), this is all preparation for the Final Test.

Test over, it was just to see how a thread made of 2 threads (merging) is organised. Turns out the thread created first (or selected first, idk) is kept, and the posts from the other thread are inserted in chronological order.

 

Suggest that ratrher than locking threads that discuss the same topic, they just be merged - the newer thread will be shown lower down than the older one, and all replies to it will just be added on to the end, as they're after the first thread.

 

(I'll delte this in a bit, just leaving it up so people interested can read it before it's gone)

also - trying to go to the second-selected thread's URL doesn't redirect to the first (thread with the 2nd's messages) thread's link, having that would be a nice addition, though of questionable usefulness.
