Rogametr
Hello everyone! Let's say that I want to buy skins for cheap on some third-party website. And as you might already know, there is no place that offers the best price for all skins; oftentimes, they are scattered. So, my question is how to check if it's really safe to use? I am aware of reddit, but it shows reviews that are 2+ month ago. Is there a reviews platform where I can find the latest reviews and sort them from new to old? Link to comment
Marvash Magalli
You could try trustpilot. If it's not even there, don't even bother with it. Link to comment
bongbingdongding69420
Some websites do the steam login in a iframe (website inside website) or with their own "input field" for credentials. Thats one huuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuge red flag. Other red flags include the presence of a "activity board" thats clearly fake (for example with a fixed or variable delay) or with names that dont exist and/or exist but dont have trade history/items corrisponding to that, or they repeat. Moderator Luki Posted June 4, 2020 Moderator Report Share Posted June 4, 2020 Yes, the easiest way to check for a login scam is to make sure you're logged in on https://steamcommunity.com in that same browser. If you are logged in there, you don't have to fill in your credentials or the steamguard auth code. Link to comment
Fox
You can also use this addon. It checks if some website try to simulate a steam login window. It will tell you if you are in danger while loging in. For chrome & Opera For Firefox Link to comment
