I Don't Understand

Why don't more people join smaller, or cheaper raffles (mainly the 1 unique weapon raffles)? Don't players realize you can just sell 2 of those weapons won from these types of raffles for 1 scrap from the bots, or is it the fact that "If it isn't worth at least $0.50, strange, unusual, australium, a hat, botkiller, expensive reskin, etc, it's not worth spending 2 seconds to join said raffle, and ignore it?"

It's because the people that usually target raffles to get items are uninterested in weapons they already have. They want things that they can immediately make enough profit on to buy cosmetics. I personally just enter those I see fit and reraffle what I get out of it.
