Here is the thing: game trading is no longer possible. Just like how when you buy a game on steam you are given the option to buy it to a friend instead of yourself, you used to be able to have the game key as an item of sorts that could be claimed to get the game, however, Valve removed that feature. Now you can only sell games if you happen to have one of those as the ones already in circulation are still valid
