  1. THe user above is terrified of sparrowhawks due to a traumatic childhood event involving an ice cream and too much time.
  2. Neither of these would fix the underlying issues, unfortunately. There are lots of hats, and this is because lots of people want metal and don't want hats. The solution to this is finding a way to make people want metal less, so that it becomes equal to their desire for hats - an equilibrium -, rather than to 'quick-fix' it and just dump off hats. Not only would just giving hats away ruin the equilibrium, it would also drain away the profit the hatbanking system makes, making it pointless to operate. For Items, that system has a small number of bots so that the PM for that system can easily track the items and manipulate the prices we buy and sell for to correct the market. There is an enforced equilibrium - metal and keys from Items does not leave Items, and metal/keys from other bot types does not enter it. This is to allow the tracking of what happens in that system for the PM's sake, and so just adding more bots with more metal wouldn't solve any issues with it. So while these are solutions to a percieved problem, they're the equivalent of a plaster over an infected wound - it looks like it does some good, and in the short term it will, but it's not solving the bigger issue underneath.
  3. Anyone can use it, but be aware that by using it you are representing scrap.tf, so anything you do that's bad looks bad on us. Please don't make us look bad.
  4. No! That isn't happening! I'm in charge here!
  5. Hah! If I send out a stranger-looking bird, that one will be shot instead!
  6. *Ninja defuses* That's why you use the USP, noob.
  7. As the other thread (The one you made in the correct section and had answered) already told you, Scrap.tf and Marketplace.tf, while owned by the same people, are not handled by the same people. The staff of scrap.tf cannot help you with Marketplace.tf issues. Your only option is to seek help from Marketplace.tf's support section. you can find it in big letters at the top of the Marketplace.tf homepage. https://marketplace.tf/support Here, this is the absolute limit of what I can physically do to help you with this, short of finding where you live and holding your hand while explaining exactly how to do it.
  8. Unless the report is purposeful and malicious, it won't get any retribution on you. Also when investigating why this specific report was made we found something they were doing that they shouldn't have been doing, anyway.
  9. 1. Varies. The most consrant ones is TF2, yet most of the time after or while playing it I would tell you I despise it. Really though, it';s that I despise the people I play it with in Valve servers. 2. Again, it varies. I always feel bad when one ends, and the one that got that the most was Chuu-2, so I guess that. 3. I sit around my desk. LIterally that's my faily activity. Once in a while I leave the house to go see a friend or something, but right now it's all looking for jobs/apprenticeships, which I do from home. 4. I have a bad memory so I'll just go with a moment I can remember - I was at my cousin's, as I'd been invited there. GTAV wasn't out yet on PC, and I gave it a shot on his console version. Grabbed a plane and had no idea how to control it. Immediately flew over to the sea and flew it -upside-down- so low that the tip of the tail wing skimmed through the water, then turned straight back around, flew back to the hangar, landed, parked it perfectly, got out and left. I literally left the house. It was late, so I needed to get going anyway, but it was the perfect time to just cut it off and leave. 5. Oh-ho-ho-ho! Here. Enjoy. 6. I don't get along with fast food, so I guess Subway. They're stomachable, filing and their price isn't /too/ high, though they're still not exactly affordable for me. 7. I try not to hate things, but there are a few things - People that play TF2 without even a basic understanding of the game, for example. I don't hate them as a person, I just hate that vague, inhuman entity that I 'see'. I hate the GTAV driver AI, as when I'm on a bike driving down the main 8-lane street, I can guarantee at least one car will pull out directly in front of me and catapult me off if I'm going at a high speed. I hate my own stagefright, which strangely enough applies more to the 'stage' of playing a ranked game than it does to actualy standing on a stage, as I've done the latter one more easily than I have the former. I hate when people cheat in a way that negatively affects other players of the game, be it DRM being introduced that gets i nthe average player's way, or ruining their experience of a single 'round' of said game. 8. Buh... 7? I don't put too much weight onto it. 9. Purple, though I tend to like thigns that are a dark brown, I just like purple hypothetically, rather than in practice. 10. Somewhere in English Canada. I've been to Germany, which is the other place I've wanted to visit.
  10. I guess you could say I minded you.
  11. A key-based one is limited to the keys there are - there's a set number of passwords which the owner of the raffle has and can give out. A password raffle is open to anybody that knows the password. A key-based raffle is better for entering an exclusive raffle that you don't want people to pass on the password to, whereas password raffles are better for puzzle raffles.
  12. Well I suppose we could offer to pay half a scrap for your key and then sell it on for the same, and while it would have plenty of buyers, I doubt there would be any sellers.
  13. Because then when somebody bought a key from us and got one they couldn't use on the vast majority of crates, they would feel cheated. We would have to pay significantly less than a normal key for them and hope that somebody somewhere wanted one.
  14. We're all a little weird. One person has recognised that image so far.
  15. Dohoho, this is rich. So what you're essentially saying is that you're threatening us to give you the "Read the rules the first time" badge. That's not going to happen. You were lazy enough to not read the rules properly the first time and so you don't get the bigheadedness and minor chat feature the badge gives. Your "site review addon" is hardly an effective threat, as if that's the kind of thing that triggers warnings on it, it won't be used simply because of how biased and unreliable it is. Additionally, listing your complaint as an "Accessbility issue" would not only be stupid, it would be false, as the site's basic features are accessible to everyone, with different ranks only gaining access to things such as the single rank-limited bot, access to any features in beta and a pretty coloured name. TL;DR - Suck it up and read properly next time.
  16. Without their profile links (or at least their names) there's nothing we can do to look into it. With their profile links we could get straight to it, with their names we could go a roundabout way to get their profile links. As-is, they could be whitelisted brothers, or they could be one person running a whitelist fraud, or they could be one person circumventing the alt protection.
  17. That moment when you realise two of the staff consistently use Discord pics. What are we, Yin and Yang?
  18. Don't post threads in subforums they don't belong. It just makes more work for us and makes us more hostile to the idea you're putting forward.
  19. You just need to log out and back in to scrap.tf so that it makes us recheck the Steam database for your name.
  20. ...What? Valve came up with the TF2 economy by adding trading, and as to who invented the idea of an economy, we'll never know, since it's such an ancient thing, stemming from the fact that unlike every other creature humans have a sense of ownership of items and that they have a material value as opposed to being the strongest having the most things to eat.
  21. Trade servers still exist? Back when I used them they were like trading with bots except slower and rude, since they never changed their price and always were selling the same items I could get from a bot.
  22. The killcount is irrelevant since it gets wiped upon trade. It's worth it if what you get in exchange for it makes you happy.
